The bible is very clear that man will not lay down with man as they would do with a woman and the same for women on women. The bible clearly states that marriage is between a man and a woman. The bible calls homosexuality an abomination.
America is quickly going down the same road as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Roman empire. As a country we embrace other religions while suppressing the Judeo-Christian beliefs this country was founded on.
We applaud the Homosexual, Lesbian, Transgender and Bi-sexual as normal and the heterosexual who finds these acts a violation against God and nature, they are homophobic, haters, bigots, intolerant and so on.
The bible aside, just the physiological makeup of a man and woman dictates that any intimacy will be between a man and woman. Our government is doing the same as the Roman Empire just before the empire fell from within.
God uses things that affect the economic situation of a nation, fire, drought, earthquakes, pestilence, winds, floods, and other natural disasters to judge a nation.
America is being judged and has been for a few years because of our stance towards getting God out of our public life as a nation and our lack of real support for Israel. Unfortunately, a person who rejects the Lord will know the truth the nano-second after they pass into eternity.

Yup, you are exactly right. Christians who argue the bible condemns consensual, loving homosexual relationships sound EXACTLY like their forebears who argued the institution of slavery was sanctioned, even required, according to the bible.
Same arguments, same interpretations. 50 years from now, we'll all know that. Right now, we struggle to see it.

I am glad you made your statement. I like the chance to discuss. I doubt we could change this person's mind, but if they believe in the all or nothing standard of the Bible, and don't make changes with the times, they need to read and follow every rule in Levit. and Deut.
In fact, they will have to become an Orthodox Jew. There is another part where when they kill the sacrifice (yes, these gay haters need to be sacrificing live animals, they must cut the sacrifice in half, and place it on the ground and walk between the two halves quite a few times before God will accept it. This may be hard to do in the school cafeteria, Once again, just saying...

So Confusing - by Marta
It is all so confusing. I don't know what God will do in eternity or now. But what is very clear to me is that He said that we must do to others as we would have done unto us and I know that we all need understanding and compassion.
I personally have known children who as young as three have demonstrated a leaning toward being of a different gender than the one their body shows to be. Jesus said that all children were innocent. And who would judge and condemn a child?
This is really something beyond my understanding. I accept all these gender variations as part of the human condition and I don't want to be guilty of inflicting any suffering on anybody.
